Coordinator – Universidad Complutense de Madrid
The Complutense University of Madrid is a public research university located in Madrid, and one of the oldest universities in the world. The university enrolls over 86,000 students, and consistently ranks as one of the top universities in Spain. It is located on a sprawling campus that occupies the entirety of the Ciudad Universitaria district of Madrid, with annexes in the district of Somosaguas in the neighboring city of Pozuelo de Alarcón.
In recent years, the roster of alumni comprises winners of the Nobel Prize (7), Prince of Asturias Awards (18), Miguel de Cervantes Prize (7), as well as European Commissioners, Presidents of the EU Parliament, European Council Secretary General, ECB Executive Board members, NATO Secretary General, UNESCO Director General, IMF Managing Director, and Heads of State. The University of Valencia (also known by the acronym UV) is a university located in the Spanish city of Valencia. It is one of the oldest surviving universities in Spain, and the oldest in the Valencian Community, and is regarded as one of Spain’s leading academic institutions. The University was founded in 1499.
The University is committed to keeping and establishing links with universities world-wide, either through bilateral agreements or by taking part in international programmes and networks. Thanks to international exchanges, students from different nationalities and cultures live and work together at the Universitat de València.

Aston University is a public research campus university situated at Gosta Green, in the city centre of Birmingham, England. Aston began as the Birmingham Municipal Technical School in 1895, evolving into the UK’s first elite College of Advanced Technology in 1956. Aston University received its Royal Charter from Queen Elizabeth II on 22 April 1966.
Aston was ranked by QS as the 47th best university in the world under 50 years old in 2012 and as the world’s 51st best university based on employer reputation in 2011. It was ranked 5th in the UK for graduate employability.

Wrocław University of Technology is an autonomous technical university in Wrocław, Poland. With buildings dispersed throughout the city, its main facilities are gathered at a central location near Plac Grunwaldzki, alongside the Oder river. It operates three regional branches in Jelenia Góra, Legnica, and Wałbrzych.
Currently the university educates over 32,000 students in almost 50 Bachelor, Master, and PhD programs. Every year over 4,000 degrees are conferred, with over 80,000 graduates since its foundation. The university staff consists of over 2000 academic employees and another 2,000 administration workers.

Laboratoires Théa was founded by Henri CHIBRET, a fourth-generation member of a French ophthalmological dynasty, born in the nineteenth century. Set up in 1994 from an R & D start-up company, Théa has played an important role in the latest pharmacological advances and in less than 10 years has risen to become the leading independent eye-care group in Europe. Henri and Jean-Fréderic CHIBRET (a fifth generation member of the dynasty) have presided over the group since 2008.

The company was founded in 1853 by an optician, John Jacob Bausch, and a financier, Henry Lomb.
Today, the company is headquartered in Bridgewater, New Jersey, and employs about 13,000 people in 36 countries.
